SaaS Development For Tech Start-up

Intuitivecare is a startup SaaS (Software as a Service) business, specialising in the UK fostering sector. One of the founders, an ex-fostering agency owner, had identified a significant need to improve the quality of software within the industry. Slow, clunky and lacking user experience, agencies had no choice but to make do with inefficient solutions that were built on old tech, and incapable of addressing the demanding needs of the modern agency.

Through previous developments, we had a gained a good understanding of this sector so Intuitivecare partnered with us for business analysis, application design, project management and software development services. The project was started in 2018 and went into official beta in January 2021.

The application is developed in a multi-tenanted environment on the Microsoft Azure platform, providing an excellent foundation for future growth whilst utilising the the latest advancements in security. Alongside the primary web application is a mobile app, developed for both iOS and Android devices.

At the heart of the product, was the need to deliver a solution that keeps children safe, so one of the primary requirements for the application was to make data “pop”. Fostering agencies are overwhelmed by data and things can be missed, so it was essential to provide tools that can present important data in a pro-active manner, helping the end user to take action before it’s too late.  This was achieved via the implementation of custom dashboards that aggregate key data and display it in an easily digestible form. Alongside this were several other primary requirements such as risk management, significant event management and simplified tools for the external carers.

We’re proud to be involved with such a technically interesting project, that streamlines the running of a fostering agency, but above all, keeps children safe.
